Tottenham is allegedly thinking about making a move to recruit Joshua Zirkzee, a striker for Bologna.

Some of the biggest teams in Europe have expressed interest in the Serie A striker due to his impressive performance for Bologna.

Spurs have already signed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin and have managed to let go of a few players who were surplus to requirements.

Even after Werner’s signing, Spurs are still being connected to attacking players.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Premier League club is allegedly one of the teams thinking about signing Joshua Zirkzee.

Due to the 22-year-old’s outstanding performances at Bologna, teams like AC Milan and Arsenal are showing interest.

Zirkzee leads Bologna in all competitions this season with eight goals and four assists. The Dutchman, who parted ways with Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022, has demonstrated genuine promise.

A graduate of both the Bayern and Feyenoord academies, Zirkzee enjoyed a good reputation at Munich before leaving to seek regular first-team opportunity.

The talented attacker is being pursued by Manchester United as well, and Bologna is anticipated to want for about £50 million in exchange.

Most likely during the summer transfer window, the Dutch striker is expected to drag some of the top teams into a bidding war.

The Tottenham management believes manager Ange Postecoglou is the best person to lead the team forward and create something truly extraordinary, so they are backing him in the transfer market.

Even without a true replacement, Spurs have performed admirably since trading club captain and record goal scorer Harry Kane. They will probably enter the market this year, presumably during the summer transfer window, to replace him.
