Liverpool told £38.7million fee will secure Slovakian signing

David Hancko is the most recent name in the spotlight among the central defenders that Liverpool is linked to.

The Reds and French champions Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the Slovakian international from Feyenoord, according to Italian journalist Nico Schira.-

According to the transfer expert, the Dutch champions have offered potential buyers 45 million euros (£38.7 million) for their prized player, but they would prefer to keep him for another month.

In addition to being a reliable centre defender, Hancko has shown that he can be useful in the attacking third.

He made 31 starts in the Eredivisie last season, helping Feyenoord win the championship after a six-year wait. He also helped the team retain 11 clean sheets.

Moreover, in all competitions, the 35-capped Slovakian personally contributed in 9 goals (4 goals and 5 assists).

Hancko has started 16 league games so far this season, helping the Rotterdam team retain six clean sheets.
